    RTX Pre-Order Is Here!

    RTX Pre-Order Is Here!

Big news guys! Introducing RTX Austin Pre-Order!

This will be the 4th RTX we've had the pleasure of exhibiting at and the 2nd RTX Austin. I've been looking forward to this show since the last day of RTX Austin 2017. I was on a high from meeting so many wonderful people, having our little "shop" on the show floor and getting to talk about the work all weekend. At the time I was fresh, green and unseasoned but over the last year I have acquired some serious flavor to spice up our experience. Now that we've been around the block a few times, I feel much better equipped to give you what you want for the sweetest RTX yet! Cue the pre-order!

I'm gonna level with ya, Sugar Bunch is continuing to grow but is in essence a small operation. Meaning, for the most part, a one woman show with occasional help/support from friends and family. When I say "we" it's me, it's you, it's the friends and family crew. The BUNCH! The way I'm able to make it happen is a Print On Demand model. This means most of the items in the shop are made to order and shipped directly from the printer. This is great for our online presence but can be a challenge for in person events. I try to have as many of the products that you've seen and love available for you, but with all of this in mind it just isn't possible (right now) to have EVERYTHING. My heart does break a little each time someone comes to the booth and excitedly requests an item I don't have with me. I'm extraordinarily happy with and proud of the products we've released, especially the new Electric Summer collection, and I want to make it as easy as possible for you to get what you want. For you, my darling, we're opening up pre-orders specifically for items that we aren't planning to bring to the show in large quantities. This way you can still walk away with THE THING you've had your eye on!

Let's talk about what I WILL HAVE. Below is a list of apparel items that will be at the show...

    • Deer with the Headlight - Unisex T-Shirt
    • Ele-fly - Unisex T-Shirt
    • Lightning in a Bottle - Unisex T-Shirt
    • Bad Bitch Racerback Tank
    • Hot Damn, Dog - Unisex T-Shirt (Black)
    • Salty - Ladies Tank (Black)
    • Defaced Cat, Pizza - Unisex T-Shirt (select sizes XL - 3XL)
    • Lone Star - Unisex T-Shirt (select sizes L - 3XL)
    • Cock of the Walk - Unisex T-shirt (select sizes L - 3XL)

Along with the above we MAY have some one offs here and there from past inventory but VERY limited quantities so I won't list those just yet. We will have some NEW accessories that will remain unnamed for now (because they aren't done yet, lol). We will also have more stud earrings and Defaced Cat Beauty products.

I know we have so much more to love in the store so this is where the Pre-Order comes in. The below items are now available for Pre-Order!

    • Deer with the Headlight - Racerback Tank
    • Ele-Fly - Muscle Tank
    • Lightning in a Bottle - Shirttail Tank

    Here's all the details...

Skip the shipping cost and rest assured you'll get what you want in your size. Order/pay now and it will be ready at the booth for you to grab any time during the show. RTX London - Oct. 14th & 15th

    RTX London - Oct. 14th & 15th

Well hello! Summer has set and it's time to fall, and what better place to spend it then foggy London Town. As I announced early this month on the Instagram account, I will be leaping across the pond to attend and exhibit at the first ever RTX London! I had such a great experience at RTX Austin this year that I couldn't wait to jump on the next show. London is an amazing city and I can't wait to be back so I can take in all that sweet British charm.

I'll be posted up in Artist Alley #106 all weekend long at the Sugar Bunch booth. If you'll be attending the show please do stop by. I really can't wait to meet everyone and share my work. I've been very buy designing and preparing some fun items I'll have for sale. There will be some signature items as well as some new stuff I can't wait to share. One of which that I'm particularly excited about is the Hot Damn, Dog enamel pins!

These are hard enamel pins, or cloissoné, with a rubber backing based on the now classic Hot Damn, Dog design that you have all come to know and love. I'm in love with how these turned out. It's the perfect accessory for your lapel, bag, lanyard or pretty much anywhere you choose to stick it. This is my first go with enamel pins and I'm hoping to do a lot more. If they do well at this show, I would love to make versions of some of my other designs and new stuff as well. The dogs are a limited quantity and I can't guarantee I will do another run of this design so get them while they last!

Along with the pins I will have some apparel, accessory and beauty items. I'm still awaiting their production and once I get them in my hot little hands I'll be updating you all with everything you can expect to see from the Sugar Bunch booth.

Once again, thank you to everyone that has supported me and the brand all this time. We are in the middle of an adventure and these shows have been a great opportunity to connect with people and grow the business. I can't wait to see what RTX London has in store for us and beyond.

Stay tuned for more updates here and on social media. Most of the info tends to come out on the @sugar_bunch Instagram account first in posts and stories, so be sure to follow us to receive the most up to date info.

    Yours truly, madly, deeply,

    Hot Damn they Salty!

    Hot Damn they Salty!

I was able to convince the stunning Elyse Willems to get salty and let me capture it with my camera. And everyone knows, If you're gonna get salty you gotta have a dog. Hot Damn! So we wrangled the equally stunning Adam Kovic to join in our picture party at the pier. All I did was clothe them and point my camera and they provided all the flavor. Here are some savory selects for you to enjoy.

    RTX Austin 2017 - Recap

    RTX Austin 2017 - Recap

So the dust has settled but the afterglow remains. Every time I think of RTX Austin  2017, it's a bitter sweet feeling. Sweet because I had such a blast, but I'm all bitter that it's over.

As I have mentioned before this was my first time exhibiting as an artist at this show or anywhere! Admittedly I was a bit nervous. I had no way of knowing if what I had prepared would be sufficient as far as my booth display, my merch items and supplies. With the help of some experienced con goers I had a base but of course every brand and every show is different (so I hear). What if my booth looked terrible, what if I forget something like the credit card reader, what if I didn't bring enough to sell, what if no one comes by at all??? O_O These are the questions that plagued me leading up to the event. I'm happy to report that nothing catastrophic happened!

I had plenty to sell, I didn't forget anything important, I met so many amazing people and my booth looked pretty damn good if I do say so myself.

Though I'm really proud of myself/the brand and consider it a great success, I definitely learned a lot and have a lot of ideas for next time. That's right I said next time! I've caught the bug and this is definitely something I want to do again, at future RTX events and other shows alike! I'd love to have more design options to share, a variety of products and will remember to drink more water early on :P

I put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this effort (ok thankfully no blood and very few tears) but I have to give a shout out to everyone who helped because I COULD NOT have done it alone. My very good friend Miranda was my amazing partner all weekend helping me manage the booth, keep me company and everything in between. So thankful to have a friend like her that offered to come out to Austin and help me like it ain't no thang! My husband Adam was a constant source of encouragement and support leading up to the show. He even helped me lug all the product and break down after the show.

The guardians that volunteered for the show out of their passion and kind hearts were a life saver all weekend and just about the sweetest people ever. Roosterteeth and the incredibly hard working people that run and put on the event are rockstars and magic makers. I thrived because of their dedication and professionalism. I worked with a handful of incredible vendors to provide my products, special shout out to Not Soap, Radio for the most amazing collab pieces. Last but not least, the fans and community! I can't extend enough gratitude to everyone that came by my booth that I got to meet and chat with, everyone that purchased anything and all the people showing support from afar on social media with kind words and following my posts all weekend.

I'm truly humbled by this experience. To be able to create and show off my passion with the world is an honor and having so many people take an interest is just...well I have no words. Just from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

I'm counting down the days until RTX Austin 2018 to see all of those lovely people again and hopefully lots of new faces! Off of this con high, I'm brewing all sorts of ideas, new desings/products and all sorts of fun stuff. So please hang with me, this is just the beginning ;)

    Sincerely the sincerest,
    <3 Jess

    #RTXAustin 2017 - July 7-9th

    #RTXAustin 2017 - July 7-9th

Many may already know this buttttt I wanted to do an official post. This weekend I'll be exhibiting as an artist at Rooster Teeth's annual convention, RTX in Austin. This will be the 5th time I've attended the event but the very first time as an exhibitor. This is such a fun event and such an amazing community I am so excited and honored to officially be apart of it this year.

This will also be the first time I've exhibited my art EVER. I'm excited to be on the other side, as I've been to these kinds of shows and conventions before, admiring other artists and brands. Who would have thought I'd get to be one of them?

I'll be selling some new, show exclusive, designs on T-shirts - 3 different designs to be exact. They will also be available for purchase on postcards along with a couple of old favorite designs. If the new designs go over well they MIGHT make an appearance on the site for online sale. We shall see!

In addition, I've been working hard with my friends at Not Soap, Radio to develop something really special for the show. Still finalizing some of the details but I will be sharing the final very soon. I cannot wait to see what you all think! These too will be show exclusives for now to see how they do, so if you're gonna be there definitely try to snag some of these babies. More info coming soon!

I'll be at the booth (Artist Alley Booth #1316) all 3 days so come check it out and say hi! I will post on social with any times I may be away. I'f you're not already, go ahead and follow @sugar_bunch on Instagram for the latest updates, sneak peeks of the merch, details of my whereabouts and more fun stuff. I plan to be actively posting and updating the Insta story so don't miss out <3

I'm truly so excited to be on this adventure and cannot wait to meet everyone.  Come say hi, hook me up with a high five and check out the goods I'll have available.

    Hope to see you there!

    Forever your girl,
